I have noticed such a shift in myself since becoming a mom as well. I used to latch onto an idea and dedicate as many waking moments to it as possible, for 8 or more hour stretches on weekends. Now I actually relish the breaks and the fact that I can dedicate maximum 3 hours. There’s a feeling of peace and ease that comes with taking my time.

Needed this reminder!! 👏🏻 Many of my current goals DO have deadlines, but not all… and I end up applying deadlines * I have made up* to every.single.thing. Which has been a joy sucker!!Loved this pick-me-up post :)

Ha! Literally laughed out loud because I relate to the *self-imposed* deadlines so much. Like you said, some things really are urgent, but it's amazing how many tasks have manufactured urgency... by us!

I definitely needed this reminder. I'm always looking to "the next thing", whatever it might be. And sometimes I miss out on what's happening right now! Thank you for sharing this!

As a fellow "next thing" seeker, I couldn't relate more! Most of the time I write these things as a remidner to... myself, ha!
