Oh my gosh, Jennifer-- you have NO idea how encouraging that is to me. Sometimes it can feel like shouting into the void. Thank you so much for the sweet words!
So good! Always a huge fan of your emails! I always leave them unopened until I have time to read and FULLY appreciate them. Thanks for the work you do, Kate!!
Savannah, thank you! That truly means so much. Sometimes in this internet world I can just feel like I'm shouting into the void, but comments like this TRULY encourage me. Thank you!
Wow! I am 68 years old and have spent my entire adult life as a worst case scenario expert. Not once in my life have I ever asked what’s the best case scenario. This will be my first question from now on. I’m going to try to write down the answer each time I ask it-I think it could be awesome to read over later to see what the outcomes were and see if they were different than when I looked for the dark cloud behind the silver lining. Thank you so much for this!
Needed this! We are 5w 5d pregnant and this is around the same time we had our loss before. BUT this time is so different (in a good way) and although it’s easy to give in to the anxiety, I NEED this baby to feel all of my good vibes. Thank you Kate! And good luck to your hubby today!
Oh my goodness, thank you for sharing, Amanda. Those early days can be such a mindgame, but I love that proclamation -- "this time is so different (in a good way)". Sending so much love to you & that babe! one day at a time! You're doing amazing.
Hi! Thank you for this. Such a great reminder. Just wondering if you’ve stopped posting on Instagram or if my algorithm is whacky. I love your stories there but just realized I haven’t seen them in a couple of weeks. I subscribe here too, of course, but love your daily bits of inspiration on Instagram :-)
Currently waiting anxiously on the arrival of my baby boy and this little prompt was exactly what I needed! The nerves are high and I’ve slipped into some worst case scenario thinking after previously feeling so positive and empowered for birth. I’m excited to shift my attention to the best case scenarios today!
What a lightbulb moment for someone (me) who usually takes the opposite tack of "what's the worst that could happen?". Sometimes that helps alleviate anxiety, but I like your approach better to infuse a bit of positivity. Thank you!
I love your emails!! So much that I keep a folder in my gmail so I can go back and dive into recipes, etc. So keep up the great work! It matters!

Love it, Donna! Especially love your intention of writing it out-- putting pen to paper is so powerful. XX, Kate
This is a lovely phrase to put front and centre in my journal - and so much needed.
I'm definitely going to try this when my brain tries to go into overthinking mode.
So glad it resonated, Louise! I hope it is as helpful for you as it has been for me. XX, Kate

Yes to focusing on best outcome. Sunday talk with my partner went deep on future, this is lovely lens as we progress ty
That's lovely, Sue. A "Sunday Talk" sounds like such a beautiful ritual & connection point in a partnership!
This is just what I needed to read today, thanks for the reminder :)

Hi, Kate! You're so sweet for noticing. Yes, I took a bit of a break from social, but I am BACK (as of just a few hours ago!)

Just live it! 😊 Will write that in tomorrow's journal!

Aw, Nancy! So glad it helped. Crazy what just changing the phrasing can do. ◡̈ Happy Monday!
I absolutely needed this 😢 thank you!! Career change and trying to buy a house has the stress at a new level.
Mmm, sending love. Those are BIG things, but beautiful things could be around the corner. You’ve got this!
Speaking as someone whose brain has a massive bent towards negativity, I love this simple question and will be trying it on today. Thank you 😀
So happy it was helpful, Dr Vicki! It always kind of snaps me back to reality when I ruminating on all of the [not so fun] what ifs
Spot on! Thx, this came at exactly the right time!
Ah! So glad to hear it, Abbey. I had the nudge to send it TODAY so I’m glad it landed 💛
Gotta follow the nudges! :) Love that!
I needed to hear this!! I am a high school counselor and will definitely be using it with my students too! :)
Omg, thank you for your job as a high school counselor. Such important work!
