2 [Easy] Smoothie Recipes For Spring🍒🍫
cherry-chocolate & peanut butter cup!
Alright you guys, I’m coming at you with my March recipe of the month.
If you’re new here I like to write about simple, real world approved approaches to healthy eating and today we’re going to talk about non-green smoothies. 🙌🏼
Now, don’t get me wrong, I am a passionate fan of sneaking in veggies and health into a lot of my meals, but honestly I kind of overdosed on doing this with my smoothies. A lot of the ones I was drinking were very veggie forward, bursting with bright green and amazing antioxidants, and overall really great… but I think I overdid it a little. 😅
So today I’m going to share two dessert-for-breakfast [no-spinach-included] smoothies that are delicious, decadent, and super satiating.
Quick note— I’m very very picky about how I design my smoothies, and for good reason. Most smoothie recipes on the internet are glorified juice boxes that will skyrocket your blood sugar up and then plummet it down, leaving you hangry, jittery, and craving a pastry an hour later.
I design all of my smoothie recipes with a specific formula that will *actually* keep you full, packed with clean ingredients, healthy fats, fiber, protein, and typically a serving of veggies….
But today I’m going to share two smoothie recipes that don’t involve any veggies and taste like a sweet treat (for real. I’m sipping one as I write this and it truly tastes like a frozen peanut butter cup).
Without further ado, let’s get into the recipes for TWO spring-time-approved smoothies: 🍒 the Cherry Chocolate Smoothie (yum) and the 🥜🍫Peanut Butter Cacao Nib Smoothie (double yum).
I personally am team Peanut Butter Cup and my husband is team Cherry-Chocolate, but both options are so dang delicious (if I say so myself…🫢)
Now, without further ado let’s get into the recipes—
