☕️ Sunday R.E.S.E.T. #21
3 podcasts, an easy salmon recipe, & my clean makeup must-haves
Hello, hello!
I hope this Sunday finds you relaxed, cozy, and ready for the week ahead.
Personally, I’ve got nothing on the agenda today, and I’m. so. excited. Who knows exactly what the day will entail, but I’m hopeful for some quality time and R+R with my little fam. ◡̈ Sometimes, having no plans really is the best plan, am I right?
✨ This week for the Sunday R.E.S.E.T. we’re focusing on some wellness for spring, including:
🎤 Recording: A quick lineup of podcast episodes I’ve been featured on lately (these were so fun!)
🐟 Eating: Salmon bowls with the BEST EVER gluten-free teriyaki glaze
💄 Shopping: A round-up of my favorite clean makeup items & the items I just restocked
🥦 Enjoying: The whole-food first supplement I’ve been loving lately (so much more delicious than simply swallowing a pill…)
💭 Thinking about: Trying to do less and what it means to practice simplicity in my life (…and WHY IS IT SO DIFFICULT?!)
Alright, without further ado, let’s get into it!
Recording… a few interviews for your listening pleasure! Below, are 3 podcasts that I’ve been lucky enough to be a guest on recently:
The Intentional Health Podcast: Kylah and I dive into health, nutrition, and marriage topics for women in their 20s and 30s and how motherhood has changed my approach to wellness.
The Feel Wealthy Show: In this episode, I chat with Jess about online business, my Substack origin story, the joy of small pleasures, and how “abundance” shows up in my life.
Yoga Magic: In this episode we’re talking about where you can make the most bang for your buck when it comes to everyday health routines!
I haven’t shared these specific episodes before so I wanted to give you a concise little roundup of the episodes so that you can connect with me in another format!
(And, if you enjoy these, you may want to check out the whole queue of exclusive “podcasts” I’ve recorded for The Reset here! I genuinely love hopping on the mic.)
I will often go through hyper-fixations with food, and lately I’m OBSESSED with salmon bowls. Through much trial and error (aka making these at least once a week) I’ve figured out the best gluten-free teriyaki glaze for your salmon:
✨ GLUTEN-FREE TERIYAKI SALMON MARINADE:
1/4 cup coconut aminos
1.5 TBSP honey
1 TBSP finely chopped garlic
1 tsp finely chopped ginger
Splash of rice vinegar (optional)
Simply add all ingredients to a small bowl and stir aggressively until honey is well-mixed and dispersed throughout the liquid.
Combine your ingredients in a bowl, slather it on the salmon, bake it up, and make sure to save a little extra to drizzle on your salmon bowl because it’s DELISH. Enjoy!
Something to know about me— I am a makeup minimalist. I simply prefer to keep things simple, and do not want a lot of items in my makeup bag.
Instead of an abundance of products, I opt for a handful of makeup items that I genuinely love and are made with clean ingredients.
And, below, I’m rounding up some of my favs…
