The Sunday R.E.S.E.T. #5
it's cozy season, baby! crockpot recipes, nontoxic candles, & warm winter boots.
Hello, my friend.
I hope you are having a beautiful start to November ◡̈
Personally, I have been in full-blown cozy mode, and this Sunday R.E.S.E.T. absolutely reflects that… 🍂🛏️🕯️🥾🥣
⬆️ In case you’re curious, here’s an insta “photo dump” look into my life over the last week or so ◡̈ Magical, mundane moments. (The last slide is my favorite)
In this edition of The Sunday R.E.S.E.T., you can expect—
RESTING: The *specific* supplement that transformed my sleep.
ENHANCING: A small (and affordable!) way I am upgrading the ambiance of my home this holiday season.
SHOPPING FOR: After debating for literal weeks, I *finally* made my winter boot decision. (Hint: it was none of the options I was originally considering)
EATING: The world’s easiest slow-cooker chili recipe that I’ve made twice this week.
TEMPTED BY: One of my favorite sustainable fashion brands is having a major sale. Like… a 30-70% off kind of discount.
Let’s get into it!
📢 PSSSST: While everyone has access to the first 2 “letters” of R.E.S.E.T. below, the full post is only open to VIP subscribers this week 🫶 WHY IS THIS? As a token of gratitude to the VIPs who financially support my newsletter a little bit extra, they receive The Sunday R.E.S.E.T. every single week, whereas the regular plan offers it every-other-week ◡̈

If there is one supplement that’s change the game for my sleep, it’s this magnesium mix.
As you may or may not know, certain types of magnesium promote quality rest. This particular mix contains a particular blend of 3 different types— gluconate, acetyl taurinate and citrate, to be specific. Each of these act differently in the body— one helps with sleep & muscle tension, one with cognitive function, and one with your digestion/bowel movements. So all three of these valuable types of magnesium are working in your body. So cool!
I have it about 1 hour before bed. I simply take a small spoonful of the drink powder, stir it in a cozy mug (or even a wine glass for fun), and sip it slowly. Ahhhh. The perfect holistic night gap.
It’s delicious, fun to drink, and made with clean ingredients — but, most importantly, I genuinely notice a difference in my sleep quality on the nights I take it versus not.
Just take a scoop, mix it in water, and have it an hour or two before bed. I’ve used it for years, and just wanted to pass along the rec ◡̈ (As always, check with your provider before starting supplement.)
With the slowing of the seasons, one of my favorite evening rituals has become lighting some candles— while cooking, taking a bath, eating dinner with Adam, cleaning, etc.
It slows me down. It calms me. It bring ambiance to my space. It enhances the ordinary, mundane moments.
While there are a zillion options, here’s my little candle kit:
This adorable ceramic match holder
These quick-strike matches
A variety of clean-ingredient, beeswax candles— I have a hodgepodge of tealights, pillar-style, or classic candlesticks.
I have one “special” candle at a time, and I typically get mine from here— they’re nontoxic, high quality, amazing smell, etc., but they’re alsoooo more expensive so I often just use plain beeswax as a more affordable option ◡̈
Don’t underestimate the ambiance & energy shift from simply lighting a candle each evening— this has been one of my favorite ways to romanticize the small moments this cozy season.
You guys. I did it.
I finally decided which winter boots to get.
As you saw in a previous edition of The Sunday R.E.S.E.T., I was debating between 6 different options.
And— plot twist— I didn’t get any of those.🫣
