Why the HECK am I writing about money & minimalism on a health-focused substack you may ask?
Welp. Here’s the thing—
While “wellness” often only gets narrowed down to nutrition, exercise, and mindfulness… I consider taking responsibility for your finances as one of the ultimate forms of self-care.
Is this the “most fun” form of self-care? Nope.
(You mean I can’t just do a face mask with cute cucumbers on my eyes and call it a day?!??!?!)
But is it one of the most important forms of self-care? Youuuu bet.

I’m by no means an accountant or a New York Stock Exchange expert—which is why I think you’ll *like* this money perspective.
I’m just a normal gal with a normal paycheck—trying to use my money to LIVE my life and invest in the things that matter.
So, when I nonchalantly mentioned I was doing a “spending freeze” during the month of February on my insta story, I was SHOCKED by how many DMs, questions, and comments I got…
While it’s not my normal “topic”, many, many of you expressed interest in knowing more.

So, today I’m going to explain allllllllll the ins and outs of my “no-spend” month:
the whys and hows (I am getting SPECIFIC)
the practical info on how I’m accomplishing it,
my own personal set of “rules” for it (what I can… and can’t buy)
how YOU can set up your own unique no-spend (or low-spend!) month
and ultimately what I just hope to get out of this whole thing.
