Sunday R.E.S.E.T. #31
Is that a chill I feel in the air???
Normally, I’m a bit heartbroken when summer starts to fade (it’s hands down my favorite season), but this year feels… different. For once, I’m actually ready to welcome fall with open arms.
Every season has its highs and lows, but lately, I’ve found myself more at peace with the natural rhythm of the year, settling into the flow of it all.
And, honestly? I think a big part of this shift comes from writing The Sunday R.E.S.E.T. every other week.
The act of consistent reflection has kept me grounded, tuning in to my current thoughts, feelings, and evolving recommendations as the seasons change. It’s natural for our interests, emotions, and priorities to ebb and flow with the time of year, but having this regular 'diary' helps me stay present in the now.
☕️ And TODAY we are covering…
💭 Recommending: This manifestation hack… from a robot? Well, kind of.
🥕 Eating: A surprising trick for actually finishing your leftovers before they go bad…

🤔 Thinking about: The random YouTube comment that totally made me rethink my relationship with the internet.
Let’s dive in!
While I think most people use ChatGPT for logical tasks like drafting emails or creating spreadsheets, I recently heard about a very different way of utilizing it.
One that felt oddly spiritual, inspiring, and beautiful to me…
I was casually scrolling TikTok and saw a video from @itsmeadowlark that caught my attention. In it, she suggested using ChatGPT to help… manifest? She wrote:
‘Write a list of your wildest dreams and ask ChatGPT:
Tell the story of a day in my dream life as my future self who has all of this.
What can I do today to help me get there?’
To be honest? At first, I internally rolled my eyes.
Like, ‘I could just journal this prompt. I don’t need a COMPUTER to visualize my dream life.’ 🙄
But, yet, something nudged me to try it...
And, honestly, you guys?
I loved it.
It sort of felt like reading a diary entry from my future, wiser, more abundant self? While, yes, I could’ve journaled this prompt— something about have my dream life written TO me was surprisingly impactful and motivating…
Here’s a snippet of mine ⬇️
I know this might not be for everyone, but if this idea intrigues you, give it a whirl! I ended up enjoying it way more than I expected. It's such an easy (and unique) way to add some vivid visualization to your goal-setting process.
Let me know in the comments if you end up trying it!
My amazing friend (since 2nd grade!), Katyanna, recently shared a food storage hack on her IG stories…and I’m so glad she did.
I immediately took a screenshot and asked if I could pass it along to The Reset crew, and she happily agreed!
(PSSST, if you’re interested in sewing, knitting, and beyond — follow her! She’s so insanely talented.)
Now, here’s the hack ⬇️
The idea is simply labeling your leftovers or food containers with a dry erase marker. So simple, yet so brilliant!
It is weirdly easy to forget specifically what’s in your fridge or when you stashed it away, and this solution is not only practical but so easy— and I had never heard it before. So, thank you, Katyanna, for the great idea!
Of note— if you enjoyed this hack, you must check out our Reset community chat where subscribers shared *their* unique life hacks. It has over 140 comments, and there are so many great (and unexpected!) ideas ⬇️ Enjoy!
Okay, hear me out— I know essential oils can be a loaded topic.
On one hand, it can be exhausting to hear random people on the internet and MLMs sellers making exaggerated claims and offering irresponsible advice about essential oils. (General rule: if someone claims that an essential oil single-handedly “cured” anything, RUN 🤣)
On the other hand, there actually is compelling data supporting the benefits of aromatherapy when sourced and used responsibly. Essential oils really can genuinely be an amazing tool… but let’s be clear: it’s likely not a cure.
So, what should the average consumer do?
The tricky part about utilizing aromatherapy is finding a quality, trustworthy source for your oils.
Unfortunately, many commercially available essential oils incorporate synthetic fillers, chemicals, and fragrances instead of pure, natural oils… so frustrating.
So today, I want to share the specific thingI look for when buying aromatherapy products to verify quality (and I’ll give you a peek at 6 specific oils I recently restocked for my own personal use!).
