Hello, friends!

Gosh, this time of year is goofy, isn’t it? Like, the holidays are almost here, but not quite.

If you’re like me, you can feel the push/pull of wanting to “finish the year strong”, check off ALL of my to-dos, and stay on top of work while internally just wanting to relax, unplug, and throw up that “out of office” email responder until further notice... 🫠🫠🫠

But, duty calls! There are things to do, children to mother, and work to accomplish. So, while I power through & work hard this week in order to take some much-needed time off on the holidays, I am still trying to embrace the cozy, hygge energy now.

Because, the way I see it— just because I still have tasks to accomplish doesn’t mean I can’t go about it in a relaxed, ease-filled way…

And one way I love to do that is through music.

Right now, I am drawn to slow-paced, cozy tunes that would be a perfect accompaniment to candlelit bath, a snowy winter walk, a solo journal session, or a quiet, dark, early morning… not exactly holiday music per se, but songs that bring about that feeling of peace & pause.

Songs that remind me…

• To soften.

• To slow down.

• To savor.
