TRYING: I am trying to stop procrastinating simple tasks (folding the laundry, scheduling an appointment, etc.). I’m sharing an easy hack that genuinely has helped kick my butt into gear.

Based on your feedback (I truly read every. single. submission.),there are some changes coming up in the 2024 on The Reset. Don’t worry— it’s nothing too major; I just refined & made some tweaks to existing offers!
I updated the V.I.P. membership bonus! While all members (free, paid, or VIP) mean the world to me— I’ve refined the structure slightly to give VIPs a larger bonus! Now, VIP members will get FREE access to my Goal Setting Bundle (a $53 value!). Existing VIPs, check your email ;)
The Sunday R.E.S.E.T. will become a bi-weekly series. From the survey results, it was clear that you guys LOVE this series (yay, me too!), but the weekly cadence was a bit much in addition to my “normal” weekly post. Moving forward, the Sunday R.E.S.E.T. will be available to ALL paid subscribers— not just VIPs, and be sent out only every-other-week. This is perhaps the biggest change (and the one I debated the most), but I am trust your guys’ feedback on this! The same format & quality content— just in a more manageable cadence. I think it’ll be a nice shift. We’ll try the ever-other-week rhythm for a few months, and we can always revisit down the line as needed ◡̈
Community chats will be seasonal (and more comprehensive!) Again, based on your feedback— paid members very much enjoy the monthly chats, but feel that they’d be able to engage more thoroughly if prompts were a little less frequent. Therefore, the monthly conversation prompt for paid members will shift to a more seasonal (and more comprehensive) chat ◡̈ Along with that, I got feedback that most subscribers (like 88%…) simply don’t have the time/bandwidth/interest in participating in a formal book club right now. Because of this, I am discontinuing the live zoom book club, but WILL start including a specific book recommendation with 5-10 prompts for reflection in our new-and-improved seasonal community chat ◡̈ It keeps the book-related conversation going for those who enjoy it, but just in a written format (instead of meeting live). Seems like a happy medium to me!
Annnnnd SO. MUCH. CLARITY. The best part? The Reset will remain largely unchanged (we’ve got a good thing goin’ here, team), but you guys really helped clarify which specific content & format you most enjoy. My head is whirling with topic ideas for 2024 (in the best way!). I feel clear, inspired, & ready to deliver some top-tier content. I take your subscription seriously & want this newsletter to be the best it can be. Thanks again for providing YOUR voice as I made a gameplan for 2024. It’s gonna be goooood!

If you are someone that struggles to “focus on your breath” during meditation, here is a hack that may help you— alternate nostril breathing!
(Or “anuloma viloma” breath pattern as it’s referred to in traditional yogic practice)
I shared this unique breath technique on my instagram stories the other day, and many of you found it helpful (peep the DM below!) so I wanted to bring it to the Sunday R.E.S.E.T. !
Not only does it feel really lovely & grounding, there are also potential health benefits—
In fact, one randomized controlled trial found that healthy men who practiced alternate nostril breathing for 12 weeks had reduced stress and improved the cardiovascular parameters (heart rate & blood pressure) compared to the control group. Another study found that yogic breath practices for 30 days (including alternate nostril breathing) significantly improved lung function.
I am by no means a specialist in breathwork, but you can learn the general technique in the 56-second video above! It was perhaps the most awkward thing I’ve ever filmed, but hey— I’m anything if not a little bit cringe ◡̈ Enjoy!
