A 2-Minute Lymphatic Reset, My Go-To Green Juice Recipe, & My Fav Baby Carrier
...also, plz don’t judge me when you see this before & after😅
Greetings from snowy Minnesota!
Not to be that RoManTaCiZe YoUr LiFe person, but I really am the embodiment of hygge as I type this: cozy PJs on, sipping dark roast, listening to a vinyl..
How did I achieve this bliss-filled moment, you ask? By dragging myself out of bed at 5:07 AM, before the kids wake up. 🤣 But I digress...
It’s a [rare] quiet morning in our home.
Snow is falling outside.
Candles are flickering around me.
Ahhhhh.
I used to save candles for ‘special occasions’, but this winter? I’ve been lighting them constantly— especially during ordinary moments— cleaning, cooking, doing my skincare, or even just enjoying a regular ol’ Tuesday night dinner at home.
And, of course, while writing this very newsletter.
It’s such a simple way to make everyday moments feel a bit more magical.

So, as I sit here, marinating in hygge vibes—feeling like a wise old sage with quill and parchment, rather than a millennial mom on her laptop—here’s your recap of my favorite things this week:
☕️ This edition of the Sunday R.E.S.E.T. includes…
🧼 Recommending: The deep cleaning gadget I can’t live without. (The before and after is…🤢)
🥒 Elixir: Each week I’ve been making a batch of this particular juice that helps boost immunity (…and makes my skin glow?!)
👩🏻🍼Snuggle: I’ve tried over 10 different baby carriers (I may have a problem…), and this specific one is hands down my favorite
🌀 Elevate: Stagnant energy? Feeling blah? Here’s a 2-minute lymphatic reset.
✨Trying: An unconventional gratitude practice that’s changing my perspective lately…
Let’s dive in!
Here’s the thing— I’m not a cleaning expert.
I’ve seen those videos where people have this arsenal of gadgets, special solutions, and elaborate cleaning techniques I didn’t even know existed.
I am… not that person. 🤣✌️
I’m just a normal cleaner, haha. Nothing fancy, but I do my best to keep our space relatively clean and tidy (well… as clean as possible with three tiny humans).
But if there’s one cleaning gadget I genuinely couldn’t recommend more highly, it’s the Bissel Little Green Machine.
I’ve had it for over four years, and what I thought would be a rare, occasional-use gadget has become something I reach for at least once a month.
Toddler spills, coffee splatters, pet accidents—there’s always something that needs tackling, and this thing works. so. well.
2ish times per year, I use it to deep clean our furniture, and wow—you don’t realize how gross your couch is until you actually clean it. 😅 Proof above with a cringe-worthy before-and-after of our ottoman…
Note: I don’t love the ingredients in the cleaning solution that it comes with, so I make my own. I use plain water, this brand’s clean-ingredient “enzyme stain remover”, and a tiny splash of Branch Basics nontoxic soap concentrate. This combo works ridiculously well & and is free of unnecessary chemicals!
So, there you have it—a cleaning gadget recommendation?? From me, Kate Eskuri??? I never thought I’d see the day.
While I am definitely not some fancy cleaning guru, I can honestly say this gadget is genuinely so useful and worth it.
(Not sponsored, of course! Just a good old-fashioned affiliate link— and, as I’m writing this, it’s on sale!)
With so many winter illnesses going around, I’ve been doing my best to sneak in as many immune-boosting ingredients as possible for our family—and making our own juice is such an easy way to do that!
Plus, it allows me to save money and skip the extra sugar and additives found in store-bought versions. Win-win!
Insert: Kate’ Famous (???) Monster Juice.
I came up with this recipe around Halloween with my toddler "helping" me make it. 😉 When we saw the bright green hue, I dubbed it “Monster Juice,” the name stuck, annnnnd here we are!

This juice has been on repeat lately at our house— not only have I managed to dodge most of the illnesses floating around, but I swear my skin actually looks brighter since drinking it consistently??? Not a bad perk. 💅🏻
And, sure, a proper juicer would be ideal, but I like to keep my kitchen gadgets minimal—so I make do without one.
Instead, I toss all the ingredients into my Vitamix (seriously, I swear this blender can handle anything), whip it up, and simply filter out the pulp with a metal mesh strainer. It’s a bit unconventional, but it’s how I make all my juices at home—no fancy juicer required!
🥒 Here are the ingredients:
1 bunch of organic celery, chopped
1 cucumber, peeled
